Tamper Evident UltraSafe
Passive® Delivery System
The Tamper Evident version of the UltraSafe Passive® delivery system helps prevent or make evident, attempts for counterfeiting or adulteration of unit dose, prefilled glass syringe pharmaceutical presentations. This Tamper Evident (TE) feature is an overt deterrent that ensures the highest level of integrity throughout the supply chain—from the drug manufacturer to the patient. Two "security seals", one covers the needle shield while the other prevents removal of the plunger, protect the syringe content and ensure a safer drug supply. Removal or tampering with either security seal readily exposes that the syringe contents may not be what the product labeling states.
